Gluten free almond and jaggery cake
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/4 Cup Almond Flour
- 1 Cup gur/jaggery
- 1/2 Cup Butter melted Can substitute with olive oil
- 1 1/2 Tsp Baking powder
- 6 Tsp chocolate powder
- 2 Tbsp Chocolate chips
- 1 Tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 Cup Almond milk
- 3 Eggs Free range
INSTRUCTIONS
- Separate egg whites from egg yolk . In a pan beat egg whites till soft peaks are formed .keep aside
- In a separate pan add egg yolks with melted butter and baking soda.beat till soft pale mixture is obtained .add in vanilla essence
- Mix all the dry ingredients together.Slowly incorporate in the egg yolk mixture Add in milk to establish smooth dough consistency
- Fold in egg whites. Pour the batter in a well greased baking tin
- Bake for 45 minutes or till the cake firms up .check by inserting a needle in the center and cake is ready if it comes out clean
