A light hearted spirited dessert
INGREDIENTS
- 2 big onions finely sliced
- 1 ½ tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ Tbsp oil
- 2 Tbsp Feta cheese
- 2 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 12 pieces Lavash Flat Bread
INSTRUCTIONS
- Put a pan on medium heat.
- Add oil and heat it well.
- Now add onion, salt and sugar. Stir continuously till the sugar is melted and the onion turns dark golden brown . Remove from heat .
- Place the bread on the baking tray and gently spread caramelized onions on the flat bread. Sprinkle some feta cheese and bake for 5-6 minutes at 180 º C in the oven.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot. In absence of Lavash bread, try using garlic berad or even nan cut into small strips. Bon Appetit!
